This Act may be cited as the Accountants (Amendment) Act, 1980.
Amendment of section 9
Section 9 of the Accountants Act is amended by deleting paragraphs (e) and (f) of subsection (1) and substituting the following: —“(e)a representative of the National University of Singapore established by the National University of Singapore Act, 1980 (Act 21 of 1980), to be appointed by the Minister on the nomination of the Council of the National University of Singapore.”.
Repeal of section 50
Section 50 of the Accountants Act is repealed.
