Producing child abuse material

(1)
Any person who intentionally produces child abuse material knowing or having reason to believe that the material is child abuse material shall be guilty of an offence.

(2)
A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 10 years, and shall also be liable to fine or to caning.

For the purposes of subsection (1), the ways in which material is produced may include —
(a)
filming, printing, photographing, recording, writing, drawing or otherwise generating material;
(b)
altering or manipulating material; or
(c)
reproducing or copying material.
