Release of part of land charged not to be an extinguishment
(1)
A release from a rentcharge of part of the land charged therewith does not extinguish the whole rentcharge, but operates only to bar the right to recover any part of the rentcharge out of the land released, without prejudice to the rights of any persons interested in the land remaining unreleased, and not concurring in or confirming the release.
(2)
This section shall apply to releases made before, on or after 1 August 1886.
