Power of Minister to make rules
(1)
The Minister may make rules for the registration of deeds of arrangement under this Act.
(2)
Rules made under subsection (1) shall provide for —
the mode of registration;
the form of the registers to be kept for the purpose of registration of deeds of arrangement under this Act;
the inspection of the registers and deeds registered and the taking of copies and extracts of the same, and the custody of the registers and other documents connected with the business of registration;
the fees to be taken in respect of registration of deeds of arrangement and in respect of office copies or extracts and searches.
(3)
All rules made under this section shall be presented to Parliament at its next sitting and shall then be published in the Gazette, and shall have the same force and effect as if enacted in this Act.
(4)
Such rules shall not come into operation until a date to be fixed by the Minister for that purpose, which date shall be subsequent to the sitting of Parliament next ensuing that at which such rules are so presented.
(5)
Any rule which is disapproved by a resolution of Parliament shall not come into operation, or if it has come into operation shall cease to have operation.
