Loitering in place, vessel, etc., without satisfactory explanation

(1)
Any person who —
(a)
is a reputed thief, is found on board any vessel or boat, or loitering in any street, road, yard or other place and does not give a satisfactory account of himself or herself; or
(b)
is found in any dwelling house or other building without being able satisfactorily to account for his or her presence therein,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.

Any offence under this section is deemed to be an arrestable offence within the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010.
