Section 150

Copy of certificates, bill and tariff to be exhibited

(1)

The master or owner of every pilgrim ship shall post up in a conspicuous part of the ship, so as to be visible to persons on board —

(a)

a copy of each of the certificates granted under this Part in respect thereof;

(b)

a bill, printed in the principal languages of the pilgrims embarked, setting forth the destination of the ship, the price of tickets, the daily rations of food and water to be served out to the pilgrims; and

(c)

a tariff of other food not included in the daily rations which they may obtain on paying for the same,and shall keep those copies so posted up throughout the voyage.

(2)

Any master or owner of a pilgrim ship who, without reasonable excuse, the burden of proving which shall lie upon him, fails to comply with the requirements of this section with respect to the posting of copies of certificates and bill and tariff, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $200 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both.[167
