Section 159

Preventive measures

The master of every pilgrim ship entering a port of Singapore shall take such measures as the Port Health Officer may direct —

(a)

to prevent rats and, if yellow fever is suspected, mosquitoes from gaining access to the ship; and

(b)

to disinfect the water taken in as ballast.[176
