Penalty for breach of sections 165 to 168
Any master of a pilgrim ship who —
(a)
fails to comply with any of the requirements of section 165, 166 or 168 as to the statements concerning pilgrims;
(b)
wilfully makes any false entry or note in or on any such statement; or
(c)
fails to obtain any such fresh certificate or to make any such statement of the number of additional pilgrims as is mentioned in section 167,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction for each offence to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.[186
