Section 174

Preventive measures to be entered in log-book

(1)

The master shall enter in the log-book a note of all preventive measures taken during the voyage.

(2)

The master shall, if so requested, submit his log-book for inspection by the Port Officer or Port Health Officer at any port of call or at the port of final destination.

(3)

Any master of a pilgrim ship who fails to comply with subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000.[191
