Section 197

Cheating by pilgrim brokers

Any pilgrim broker who —

(a)

commits a breach of any of the terms or conditions of his licence; or

(b)

by fraud or false representation —

(i)

induces any pilgrim to travel by any other ship than that intended by him; or

(ii)

delays the voyage of any pilgrim,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both, and his licence may be forfeited.[214
