Information to be sent to ports of embarkation
(1)
The Director shall send any particulars which he considers important respecting any pilgrim ship which arrives in Singapore and the pilgrims carried therein to the appropriate officer at the port or place from which such pilgrim ship commenced her voyage.
(2)
The Director, the Port Health Officer, a police officer or a surveyor of ships may enter on and inspect the ship, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of this Act as to the number of pilgrims and other matters have been complied with.[220
