Section 291

Where a receiver takes possession of any wreck, he shall within 48 hours cause to be posted at the office of the Port Master, and, if he thinks it desirable, he shall send to the secretary of Lloyd’s in London, a description thereof and of any marks by which it is distinguished.[314
