Section 393

The Minister may, from time to time by order and either generally or for any period stated in such order and subject to such conditions as may in such order be stated, exempt from any of the provisions of this Part or any regulations made thereunder any person or class of persons or any ship or class or description of ships.

Subsection (1) shall not apply to the provisions of this Act or any regulations relating to the mortgage of Singapore ships.[423
