Wages on termination of service by illness
Where the service of a seaman terminates before the date contemplated in his agreement by reason of his being left on shore at any place out of Singapore under a certificate, granted as provided in the Merchant Shipping Acts, of his unfitness or inability to proceed on the voyage, he shall be entitled to wages up to the time of such termination, but not for any longer period.[78
