Power to stop and search for arms, explosives or explosive precursors in street

It is lawful for any police officer to stop, and to search for arms, explosives or explosive precursors, any person whom the police officer may find in any street or other public place, at any hour of the day or night, who acts in a suspicious manner, or whom the police officer may suspect of having any arms, explosives or explosive precursors in the person’s possession.
