Section 27

Penalty for making false statements before registering officer

Any person who —

(a)

intentionally makes any false statement, whether on oath or not, before any officer acting in the execution of this Act;delivering false document(b)intentionally delivers to a registering officer a false document;false personation(c)falsely personates another and in that assumed character presents any document or makes any statement or does any other act in any proceeding under this Act; orabetment(d)abets anything made punishable by this Act,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years or to both.
