Section 3

Unauthorised use of foreign insignia and uniforms

(1)

Any unauthorised person who uses or wears any foreign insignia, decoration, medal, bar, clasp, ribbon, badge, stripe, emblem, or foreign uniform or part thereof shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction in the like manner and to the like penalties mentioned in section 2(1).

(2)

If any person —

(a)

falsely represents himself to be a person who is or has been entitled to use or wear any such foreign insignia, decoration, medal, bar, clasp, ribbon, badge, stripe, emblem or foreign uniform or part thereof; or

(b)

without lawful authority or excuse supplies or offers to supply any such foreign insignia, decoration, medal or foreign uniform or part thereof to any person whom he knows or has good reason to believe not to be authorised to use or wear it,that person shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction in the like manner and to the like penalties mentioned in section 2(2).
