Proceedings at general meetings
(1)
Subject to subsection (1A), 20 members of the Corporation shall form a quorum at any general meeting.
(1A)
If, after 30 minutes from the time appointed for a general meeting, there are fewer than 20 members of the Corporation present at the place of the general meeting, any 10 or more members of the Corporation present at that place shall form a quorum for the general meeting.
(2)
The President of the Corporation or in his absence one of the Vice‑Presidents shall be entitled to take the chair at every general meeting, but in the absence of the President and Vice‑Presidents at the time appointed for any general meeting the members present may elect a member of the Committee of Management to take the chair.
(3)
Every question arising at a general meeting shall unless otherwise decided be decided by a majority of votes on a ballot, and every member present shall be entitled to one vote, and in case of an equality of votes the member presiding at the meeting shall have a second or casting vote.
(4)
The Honorary Secretary (or some other person appointed for the purpose by the Chairman of the Meeting) shall cause minutes to be kept of all proceedings at every general meeting of the Corporation.
