Section 69

Power of registrar to grant probate or letters of administration in uncontested cases

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act, the registrar may exercise and shall be deemed always to have had power to exercise, in uncontested matters and subject to rules made under any written law for the time being in force relating to the courts, all or any of the powers conferred upon the court by Parts 2, 3 and 10, and by section 55.
