Section 18

Penalty for failure to furnish particulars

Any person whose duty it is under the preceding provisions of this Act to furnish any particulars of any birth or death, and who without reasonable cause omits to do so within the time required by this Act shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $100:Provided that no prosecution shall be instituted in respect of any birth or death the particulars of which have been registered under section 17.
