Section 12

Licences to be numbered and registered

(1)

All licences issued shall be numbered consecutively in the year in respect of which they are issued, commencing each year with the number one.

(2)

The Chief Executive of the Authority shall keep a register of licences showing all the particulars of each licence issued under this Act.

The entries in the register shall be numbered to correspond with the serial numbers of the licences and there shall be noted in the register in the event of cancellation of any licence the date of such cancellation.

(4)

Any extract from or copy of an entry in a register kept under this section shall be prima facie evidence of the facts stated therein if the extract or copy is certified under the hand of a licensing officer to be a true extract or copy.

(5)

The register of licences kept under this section shall be kept at such office as may be designated by the Chief Executive of the Authority and shall be available for inspection by any person without charge at all reasonable hours.
