Section 11

Breach of contract liable to injure person or property

Every person who wilfully and maliciously breaks a contract of service or of hiring knowing or having reason to believe that the probable consequences of his doing so, either alone or in combination with others, will be to endanger human life or cause serious bodily injury, or to expose valuable property whether real or personal to destruction or serious injury shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.
