Power of Board to make regulations
(1)
Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Board may make regulations to carry out the objects and purposes of this Act.
(2)
In particular and without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), such regulations may prescribe —
the procedure to be adopted at meetings of the Board;
the duties of the Registrar;
the form of the register and the mode in which it shall be kept;
the fees to be paid in respect of proceedings, examinations under section 6 and in respect of certificates issued under this Act;
the manner in which applications for registration shall be made;
the procedure to be adopted at inquiries before the Board;
the forms of any certificates or other documents required for carrying out the purposes of this Act;
the appointment and payment of legal advisers;
payment of fees and expenses to members of the Board.
(3)
Regulations made by the Board under this Act shall be subject to the approval of the Minister and when so approved shall be published in the Gazette and shall take effect as from the date of such publication.[26
