Persons received into Singapore from elsewhere to be subject to local law
Persons of unsound mind received into Singapore under section 45 shall be subject to the law for the time being in force in Singapore relating to the custody and control of the persons and estates of persons of unsound mind and to their discharge from custody:Provided that where any such person is so discharged he may, if he so desires, be returned to the place from which he was removed.
