Section 14

Presumptions

In any prosecution under this Act, it shall be presumed until the contrary is proved —

(a)

that any premises in which rooms or parts of rooms are let or sublet for hire for periods of less than one week constitute a hotel; and

(b)

that any person who has or appears to have the care or management of such premises is the occupier of those premises.
