Section 108

Power to attach subject of dispute

(1)

If the District Court decides that none of the parties is then in actual possession or is unable to satisfy itself as to which of them is then in actual possession of the subject of dispute it may attach it until a competent civil court has determined the rights of the parties to it or the person entitled to possession of it.[Form 23.]

When the District Court attaches the subject of dispute it may, if it thinks fit, appoint a receiver thereof who shall, subject to the control of the District Court, have all the powers of a receiver appointed by the High Court.[107
