Penalty where body is buried without authority
(1)
Subject to section 273, any person who without lawful excuse inters or causes to be interred the body of any person who has died in any institution or the body of any deceased person found under the circumstances mentioned in section 273 before he has received the order of the Coroner shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $200.
(2)
Where any person is charged with having committed an offence under this section the onus of proving that he had lawful excuse or that he received the order of a Coroner shall be on the person charged. [300
