Saving for exceptions to rule against hearsay in Evidence Act
Nothing in this Chapter shall prejudice the admissibility in any criminal proceedings of any statement which would by virtue of the Evidence Act [Cap. 97] be admissible as evidence of any fact stated therein.[383
