Section 26

False statements

If any person seeking or receiving legal aid or advice in furnishing any information in his application knowingly makes any false statement or false representation, he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction in a Magistrate’s Court to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
