Application

(1)

The Director-General shall cause every Government school to be registered.

An application for the registration of a school other than a Government school shall be made to the Director‑General by a person intending to become a manager of the school and the Director‑General may grant the application with or without conditions, or may refuse the application giving reasons for his refusal.

Every such application shall be substantially in the Form 1 set out in the Schedule and shall be accompanied by applications for registration as managers of and teachers in the school, as the case may be, completed in accordance with sections 31 and 36 respectively by every person named in the application as managers of, or as teachers in, the school.
