Section 39

Grounds for cancellation of registration of a teacher

The Director-General may cancel the registration of a teacher —

(a)

on any of the grounds on which he would have been entitled to refuse registration under section 38;

(b)

if he is satisfied that the teacher has been guilty of professional misconduct;

(c)

if he is satisfied that the teacher is not competent to perform the duties of a teacher; or

(d)

if the teacher has contravened any of the provisions of this Act or any regulations made thereunder.
