Grounds for cancellation of authority to teach

(1)
The Director-General may cancel the authority to employ any unregistered teacher —
(a)
on any of the grounds on which he would be entitled to cancel the registration of a teacher under section 39; or
(b)
if a registered teacher with the required qualifications becomes available.

(2)
The Director-General shall cancel the authority to employ any unregistered teacher when the employment which is authorised is terminated.
