Section 12B

Registration cards

(1)

Upon the registration of an employment agency personnel under section 12A, the licensee concerned shall issue a registration card to the employment agency personnel in such form as may be prescribed.

(2)

Any person who —

(a)

forges or unlawfully alters a registration card;

(b)

uses or has in his possession any forged or unlawfully altered registration card;

(c)

uses a registration card which is not issued to him; or

(d)

without reasonable excuse, gives or sells any registration card,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $15,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.

(3)

Any licensee who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction —

(a)

to a fine not exceeding $1,000; and

(b)

in respect of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
