Section 76

Upon the date of the commencement of this Act every person who immediately before such date was a member of the Special Constabulary constituted under the provisions of the Police Force Ordinance 1941 shall be deemed to be transferred to and to become, with the same rank, grade and seniority immediately before such transfer, a member of the Special Constabulary constituted by this Act as if he had been appointed under the provisions of this Act, and the provisions of this Act shall extend to every such person accordingly, and every such person who was serving in the Active Unit of the Special Constabulary constituted under the provisions of the Police Force Ordinance 1941 shall be deemed to have been mobilised for active service to perform general police duties under section 65.
