Section 26

If any person contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or any order or direction made or given or requirement imposed under section 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 13, or abets such contravention or failure, he shall be guilty of an offence and, subject to any special provisions in this Act, shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
