Section 27

Enhanced penalty for certain offences committed in a proclaimed area

Any person who in a proclaimed area commits, attempts to commit or in any place in Singapore abets the commission in a proclaimed area of any of the offences for the time being specified in the Third Schedule shall be liable on conviction to such fine as is provided for that offence, attempt or abetment, as the case may be, or to imprisonment for a term which may extend to twice the longest term provided therefor or to both.
