Person registered under Enlistment Act 1970
(1)
An immigration officer may prevent any person from leaving Singapore and require the person to surrender the person’s passport to the immigration officer if the immigration officer has reason to believe that the person is a person subject to the Enlistment Act 1970 who has been registered under section 3 of that Act or is deemed to be registered or is liable to be registered under that Act and is attempting to leave Singapore without an exit permit issued by the proper authority.

In this section, “person subject to the Enlistment Act 1970” and “proper authority” have the meanings given by the Enlistment Act 1970.
