Section 60

Jurisdiction of Courts

(1)

All offences under this Act or the regulations shall be cognizable by a District Court or a Magistrate’s Court.

(2)

Any District Court or Magistrate’s Court may, despite anything in the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, impose the full punishment prescribed for any offence except that a Magistrate’s Court shall not impose a sentence of imprisonment for a term exceeding 12 months.
