Section 62

Any person in Singapore whose presence is unlawful under the provisions of any previous written law for the time being in force in Singapore or any regulations or orders made thereunder is deemed to be unlawfully in Singapore for the purposes of this Act.

Any authority to enter Singapore granted under the provisions of any law in force immediately before 16 April 1963 and valid on that date is deemed to be a valid permit issued under the provisions of this Act but subject to any limitations imposed by that law.
