Director and officers to be armed

Every relevant officer of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau shall be provided with such staves, arms, ammunition and other accoutrements as may be necessary for the effective discharge of his duties.

In subsection (1), “relevant officer of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau” means the Director, a deputy director, an assistant director or a special investigator of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau.
