Effect of suspension of licence by Deputy Commissioner of Police
A driving licence suspended by the Deputy Commissioner of Police under section 45 for a period of one year or any other longer period has no effect and the holder of the licence must not drive a motor vehicle after the period of suspension unless he or she passes the prescribed test of competence to drive.
