Disqualification or suspension to continue in certain circumstances
If any person who is disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, or whose driving licence is suspended under the provisions of this Act, drives while he or she is so disqualified or his or her licence is under suspension and causes death or serious injury to any other person and is charged for an offence under this Act, the disqualification or suspension continues until that offence has been tried and determined by a court.
