Section 88

A fee may be levied for the inspection of a vehicle under section 87.

An additional fee may be levied for any further inspection of the vehicle where the vehicle is found, after a previous inspection, not to comply with any prescribed requirement relating to its construction or condition, or to any identification mark or sign carried by or fixed on it or the seal of that mark or sign, or to any marking on it.

Any fee payable under subsection (1) or (2) must be paid by the owner of the vehicle in respect of which it is levied.

This section applies to any vehicles that may be prescribed.
