Section 127

Restriction on erection, etc., of wharves, docks, etc.

(1)

Notwithstanding the provisions of the Foreshores Act [Cap. 113], no plans and specifications for —

(a)

the erection, within the port or the approaches to the port, of a new wharf or dock or for the re-erection, extension or alteration of the same; or

(b)

the erection of any sea-wall or any revetment along the bank of the port or for the re-erection, extension or alteration of the same,shall be approved under that Act without previous reference to, and the concurrence of, the Authority.

(2)

Where the Authority omits or refuses to give its concurrence to the plans and specifications referred to in subsection (1), the Director of Public Works may refer the matter to the Minister whose decision shall be final.[112
