Animals and birds not to be kept in captivity for sale, export or exhibition without licence
(1)
A person must not keep in captivity for sale, export or exhibition any animal or bird in any place which has not been licensed in that behalf under this Act.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
