Cancellation of registration

(1)
Where a person has been registered under this Act and the Minister is satisfied that the registration —
(a)
was obtained by means of fraud, false representation or the concealment of any material fact; or
(b)
was effected by mistake,the Minister may by order require the Commissioner to cancel the registration of that person.

Any person whose registration is cancelled under this section must forthwith surrender his or her identity card to the Commissioner.[10
