Appointment of Mufti
(1)
The President of Singapore may, after consultation with the Majlis, appoint a fit and proper person to be the Mufti of Singapore.
(2)
Such appointment must be notified in the Gazette.
(3)
The Mufti is to be ex-officio a member of the Majlis.
