Section 66

Proceedings of Council, Review Committee and Inquiry Committee to be confidential

(1)

Except insofar as may be necessary for the purpose of giving effect to any resolutions or decisions of the Council and any Review Committee or Inquiry Committee, confidentiality must be maintained in all proceedings conducted by the Council, its staff and the Review Committee or Inquiry Committee.

(2)

Despite subsection (1), the Chief Justice or the Attorney‑General may require the Council to disclose to him or her any matter or information relating to any complaint of misconduct or disciplinary action against any advocate and solicitor.
