Section 43

Contravention of regulations

(1)

Section 41(2) to (4) and (6) to (9) shall apply mutatis mutandis to any person who, being licensed under section 41 or 42 to set up any stall, table, showboard, vehicle or receptacle for the purpose of selling or exposing for sale any food or drink or any other goods or to act as an itinerant hawker, as the case may be, contravenes any regulations made under this Act for the control of hawkers.

(2)

The Minister may, in making any regulations for the control of hawkers, provide —

(a)

that any contravention by any person, who is not so licensed, of any specified regulation shall be an offence punishable in the same manner as a contravention of that regulation by a person who is so licensed;

(b)

that section 41(2) to (4) and (6) to (9) shall apply mutatis mutandis to any person who, not being so licensed, contravenes any such specified regulation.[44
