Accounts and audit
(1)
The Board shall keep proper accounts and other records of the Council and shall prepare in respect of each financial year a statement of accounts.
(2)
The accounts of the Council shall be audited by an auditor appointed by the Council at its annual general meeting.
(3)
As soon as the accounts of the Council have been audited in accordance with subsection (2), the statement of accounts together with any report made by the auditor shall be submitted by the Board to the Council at the annual general meeting for their adoption.
